It’s good and pleasant when brethren dwell together in unity. We never need to try to outdo the wickedness of another. We must keep our conscience soft but we must not continue to anguish over sins after God has forgiven them.
The promises God made in the Bible are absolute and He still demands obedience. We would be foolish to think we will not be punished for disobeying His commandments so we need to beware of an atmosphere which encourages disobedience.
