We need to learn how to be gracious in both our losses and our victories. A great person can overlook a slight and forgive an enemy. If Christ was willing to die so that we could be forgiven of our sins we should be willing to forgive the lesser transgressions others might commit against us.
And sometimes when there are two different sides to a story it’s best to just split the difference.
