God will only forget a sin which has been repented of and forgiven. He sees injustice and He will not let it go unpunished whether in this life or in the Day of Judgment. Time does not undo a wrong or disavow a promise.
Zeal without knowledge is not helpful.
And children may suffer the consequences of parents’ sins but they do not suffer the guilt.
