Children deserve to be treated equally with their siblings. They also deserve to receive scholarly training and more importantly spiritual training. They deserve discipline as well but parents must do it promptly fairly consistently and without injuring the child or exercising anger. They deserve modeling too; they need to see the lessons they’ve been taught exemplified in their parents’ lives. And they deserve the prayers of their parents as well.
