Envy is a dangerous sin. It is one of the motivations of those who crucified Jesus and it can destroy a congregation. Greed was another of Judas’ sins. He learned far too late that money is not everything. And Judas was covetous as well. He robbed God by accepting money that wasn’t rightly his in exchange for a life that wasn’t his either.
