Jesus became discouraged at Calvary but He prayed for His Father’s encouragement and kept going. We must understand that we will sometimes become discouraged and we must encourage others who are discouraged. We must also understand the importance of Calvary. If Jesus had not died at Calvary we would still be subject to the law of Old Testament there would be no Church there would be no remission no redemption no reconciliation no justification no sanctification and no washing from sin.
