We will take the Lord’s Supper several thousands of times in our lifetimes and we must make sure it does not lose its meaning to us as do most things we do repeatedly.
We must not abuse it. We must recognize that the Lord’s Supper is not the only important part of worship but we must not forget that the Lord’s Supper is important. We must not believe the Lord’s Supper cleanses us from sin and we must not needlessly skip the Lord’s Supper.
