A day will come when there will be no more opportunities to make one’s life right with God. The door of opportunity will be closed if one has not obeyed the gospel of Christ before His return. It will be closed if one is rendered mentally incapable of obedience having never obeyed the gospel. It will be closed if one dies without obeying the gospel. And it may become closed if one’s heart is so hardened that they refuse to respond to God’s word.
