We will not always be successful in our evangelistic efforts. Even Jesus was not able to convert every person to whom He preached. Not all people will be receptive to the Word of God no matter how it is presented to them. Some will reject the Gospel outright and others will delay making a decision indefinitely.
We must never become discouraged from evangelizing however. We must not take rejection personally. We must not overreact to rejection because our persecution could have been much worse. We always have to expect success. We must not blame ourselves for not saying the perfect thing. And we must not lose our conviction that souls are lost without the Gospel.
