Most people see religion as an optional matter but it is not. The church is the place where all those who have been saved from their sins are located. We all have a responsibility to obey the Gospel and we cannot have salvation or eternal life if we do not do so.
We should serve and obey God for several reasons. God is the One who gave us life. He is also the Creator and the Owner of this world. We owe God a debt we can never repay as well. We will each have to give God an account for how we have lived. And God is holy and worthy of our devotion.
