In a spiritual sense Jesus is crucified again whenever a person sins. Strangely Christmas is a time when many will be thinking about religion much more than usual but sinning more frequently as well. Christmas does not give us any license to behave in an ungodly manner. It’s also no excuse for us to be selfish extravagant or materialistic. Neither are we allowed to neglect our Christian duties during the holidays. And we must be careful never to support false doctrine.
