We can have fellowship with God and with His people. We do not set the boundaries of this fellowship but God does. We should fellowship all of the people who are in fellowship with God but no one who is out of fellowship with Him.
We cannot be in fellowship with someone unless we are both walking in the light. In order to walk together we must be walking in the same direction. We must also be headed toward the same destination.
We must be careful not to deny fellowship to those who should have it. We must not allow judgment calls to divide the Lord’s church. We must not bind where the Bible has not bound or loose where the Bible had not loosed. And we must not let insignificant matters split the church.
