Sometimes we fall into self-pity. Several of the most faithful men in the Bible became so downcast they prayed to die. Sometimes we feel like our lives do not have purpose but as faithful Christians we have the greatest purpose in the world – to worship God. In times when we are persecuted for our faith we should not feel remorse. We should count ourselves blessed because we will be rewarded in heaven for enduring that persecution.
