The Bible was inspired by God meaning the words are literally His. God guided the writers in accurately recording the messages they penned. They used His words rather than their own. The first evidence for this inspiration is the unity of the Bible; 40 writers who lived at different times spoke different languages had different backgrounds wrote a flawless text. Its indestructibility is another evidence; men have tried to destroy it for centuries but it has proliferated.
