Failure Need Not Be Final

Allen WebsterAudio

Peter’s overconfidence contributed to his denial of Jesus. He let his prayer life become weak. He failed to watch. And he reacted without considering the consequences. Peter was overpowered by temptation and peer pressure. He set himself up for failure by distancing himself from the Lord and by associating with his enemies. But Peter realized his error and repented of his sins. Like Peter we can correct our failures and the best parts of our lives may happen after we overcome our sins.
