There are three realms which our souls may inhabit. We live in the physical realm now. The Hadean realm is where the souls of the dead wait for the Day of Judgment. And the eternal realm is where we will live forever in the afterlife. If we die without obeying the gospel we transition into the torment portion of the Hadean realm; it is a prison for those whom God will find guilty in the Final Judgment. In death we retain our identities our memories our consciousness and our fixed destinies.
