Sometimes a Christian is unable to attend services because of an extreme circumstance but we must attend the public assembly every time it is possible. We are commanded by God to gather with other saints. God does not approve of us willfully missing one assembly any more than He approves of us missing every assembly. Any time we skip a service we put distance between ourselves and God. When we assemble we grow in knowledge and we encourage one another.
