We may not realize how many blessings God has given us. It pleases God to give us blessings. The first blessing He gave us is dignity; He created us in His image. Humans were given the intellect to reason with God. We have consciousness. We have souls and can choose to live with God eternally. He also blessed us with dominion over the Earth. All the creatures and the resources on the planet are ours to make use of but not to abuse.
