In modern times radical groups have tried to restrict some of the things with which God has blessed us. Human beings are not mere animals as many claim. When we eat meat we are not committing murder; we are eating a food which God has given us for our nourishment and enjoyment. When we keep animals as pets use them as beasts of burden or utilize them to help the disabled we are not violating their “rights.” We are using them for God’s intended purposes.
