As Jesus forewarned Christians must endure persecution for the sake of righteousness. We may face mockery slander and even physical abuse for our faith. We stir up opposition because a good example is a reproach to others’ sinful behavior. And we are singled out because we are different from the rest of the world. But God will bless us with more than enough to make up for these persecutions.
