We know that Jesus wept at least three times while He was on Earth. He wept as He prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane dreading the sins He would bear on the cross. We should be filled with sorrow by our sins because they hurt God and crucified Christ. Jesus also wept when He observed all the lost people in Jerusalem who were rejecting Him. We must likewise be concerned for the lost souls around us. And Jesus wept over His friend’s death. We must also weep with those who weep.
