It may be dangerous to have an enlarged heart physically but it is a great blessing to have an enlarged heart spiritually. A righteous person will enjoy God’s greatest blessings and so will his or her family. A righteous person will also have a good reputation. A righteous person’s treasure will be stored up in heaven where it cannot be stolen or destroyed.
Having an enlarged heart means being generous and merciful. However it does not mean facilitating someone’s laziness. And it does not mean ignoring a person’s sin either.
