We need to be willing to forgive our brethren when they repent and confess their sins. We must not hold grudges against them. We are meant to heal and build up the spirits of those who have been wounded by sin. And we must understand that the devil can sometimes use our friends to get to us.
We need to learn to control our tongues even when the urge to speak seems overwhelming. We have to be careful not to teach others falsely. And we must live by the standard which we preach to others.
