We must appreciate our Lord’s kingdom in order to understand and appreciate why He came to earth. The church is the kingdom Jesus came to establish. It exists in this world right now and it will last forever. It is the kingdom of God the kingdom of Christ and the kingdom of heaven.
Jesus is the ruler of His kingdom. It is governed by the Gospel. The whole world is its territory. And Christians are its citizens.
