Love God and Neighbor (Part 2)

Allen WebsterAudio

Love means many things in English but in Greek it was expressed by several more specific words. For example “agape” is related to selflessness and charity. “Eros” means romantic love. And “philia” is the Greek word for brotherly love and friendship love. Of these words “agape” was the least used in Greek literature but the most used in the Bible. Jesus exemplified love and He exemplified how we should live. We must strive to personify all the traits the Bible attributes to love.
