It’s important for a congregation to be well-prepared when receiving a new preacher. First and foremost we should pray for him. We need to pray ceaselessly and the work of a preacher is certainly something worth praying about. We should pray with spiritual intensity. We need to pray cooperatively with our brethren. And we should pray for specific purposes.
