The people who raise our children will have a profound impact on their development but their growth is solely the responsibility of the parents. We also see that we must never hesitate to save ourselves from judgement. And we need to count the cost before going into battle.

We must examine our own lives carefully before making a judgment about another person. We have to heed the word of God or we may one day lose it. And we must work to get rid of evil and replace it with good.

Procrastination should not characterize the children of God especially in regard to the Lord’s work. We must perform the duties to which we commit. We have to make the best possible use of our time. And we must realize the importance of our work. If we are unreliable we hinder our cause by slowing down our fellow workers.

God always keeps His promises and we need to trust Him even when circumstances look bleak. Sometimes a family member may have to step in to save a child. We can work more efficiently when we take time to plan the work. We need to defend our spiritual leaders. And we must be persistent in our service to the Lord.
