Everything we do in our service to God must be motivated by love. We must love Him above all and we must love other people as much as we love ourselves.
Having the correct view of God is important. We should not overemphasize any one of His traits but we should see Him in His holiness as best we can.
And the Lord protects his people but He sometimes allows us suffer in times of testing.
