Men and women have different roles to fill in the church and only men are authorized to lead prayer in the assembly.
Before someone leads a prayer in the church he needs to be certain he has been living a clean life. He must be sure to remove any wrath which may reside in his heart. And his faith must be unwavering.
Prayer leaders need to speak loudly enough for everyone to hear. The prayer has to fit the occasion. And the prayer should never be an empty repetition.
